The commissioning process would start, where possible, with a visit to the site to see the space and then discuss what you’re after, any styles or inspirations you’d like incorporated in the project, material preferences, timelines and budget. The more information you can provide at this point the better, but if there is anything you’re unsure on Ben can lead you through the options available. Having had this discussion, we’ll agree upon a brief.

Working to this brief, Ben will start to explore various design concepts and ideas, and then present them to you to review various options along with indicative costs. Once a design has been chosen, technical drawings will be drawn up and a final quote confirmed.

At this point 50% would be due to secure your position in Ben’s workbook and for the required timber and materials for the project be purchased. On completion of the project the remainder would be due and at this point we’d book in a delivery date.
