BENTH Furniture is a designer maker based in Tonbridge, Kent, founded by Ben Thompson-Heilbron, hence "BENTH".

Ben graduated with distinction from Furniture Craft School before going on to set up his workshop with the aim to design and make pieces that champion natural materials while balancing both form and functionality, and that will ultimately stand the test of time.

Ben is part of a group of like minded furniture makers from around the world who are part of the Treemaker Initiative. Members pledge to reinvest a percentage of profits into tree planting or protection in their country and Ben does this through The Tree Council and Woodland Trust. ​Ben works with native timbers where possible creating pieces both for bespoke one off commissions and for a collection that’ll be available for purchase. If you have any potential projects or ideas in mind, Ben would love to hear from you.
